NC30 derestriction boxes

Post by banoffee »

How much do used M-Max boxes go for? Can you still get them new?

Rick Oliver lists one - is it the same principle as the M-Max type? I.e. plug and play by the CDI too?

HRC ones look expensive - do they work with a stock road bike? Any benefits over the M-Max type?

Questions questions

Aly, pretty sure that rvf boxes plug in at the clocks (no big cdi plug) and vfr plug in at the cdi via 6 & 4 pin connectors.

Thanks for the replies. I've found that the Rick Oliver resistor is easy to fit and only £6 so have ordered one of those
