RAF Odiham Track day -5th Sept - £60

Post by Smev »

I've just seen this posted on their website - http://www.omcc.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hi everyone,

I know many of you have been waiting for the applications to open for the next ARD on Saturday 5th September, so here it is.

THE NOISE LIMIT IS REDUCED TO 98db @ 5000REVS FOR THIS EVENT

As many people are unsure what noise level their machines produce, we will hold noise testing evenings during the run up to the event. On the following dates, a member of the club committee will be available at the main gate of RAF Odiham at 19:00, the noise testing will take place just inside the gate.

Monday 03 August
Monday 10 August
Monday 17 August
Monday 24 August
Monday 31 August

On Thursday 27 August, noise testing will take place at 1930 in the same place which will be followed by the club meeting as normal. If you are unable to attend any of the above dates and still wish to be noise tested, please email omcc@hotmail.co.uk and we will try to accomodate your needs.

As always, please download the application form from the following link, the address to which it should be posted has changed from previous ARD's and is on the form.

http://www.mediafire.com/file/vzfyzzqmk ... n_form.doc" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you need to renew your membership, the membership application form is here:

http://www.mediafire.com/file/hb1wtkznd ... cation.doc" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you have any questions, either post here or email omcc@hotmail.co.uk, the rules and regs for the day will be posted in due course.

Cheers,
John Hickey
OMCC Committee

I'm going to be there on my NC30 - hopefully see some of you all there too! 8-) :grin:

Cheers Smev

I've been asked to be an instructor this time so will be floating about in some of the novice groups and inters- probably not in the fast/advanced as most of those guys are racers and don't need any pointers on correct lines!

Well the track day has been and gone and it was great! several 400's there 3 NC30's a cbr 400, an FZR 400 and a GSXR 400 too! so a good turn out for us!

Scott Smart and James Hillier were there too - showing everyone how it should be done :P

I was chatting to Scott when a guy came up and asked -
"how do you do that?"
Scott replied "what?"
Then came from the guy " come past me on your back wheel when I'm doing 145mph?!!!!"

Some pics to follow soon!
