cbr400 engine bits into CB-1 .. anything fit ? worth doing ?
as topic really ..
Dont know much about honda's and have a really ropey CB-1 here that mice have been living in for 5 years ...
am i right in thinking the engine is essentially a detuned NC23 unit ?
if so is it worth fitting '23 cams, carbs etc ? (will they even fit ?)
or even a whole nc23 engine if this one's shot ?
cheers :)

I don't know the engines, but you might be able to see if they are similar enough from the manuals. They are on the site somewhere.

CBR400 engine? What for?
You can install cbr400 carbs, camshafts and aftermarket exhaust/
Or you can install a cbr600f1 engine. Here is old photo of my bike

Two days before I made the first testdrive - rides good, but eats fuel like a GM BigBlock.

Here is another photo.

Rear long bolts inserts as the original. Front and upper holes need to be modified. And exhaust, radiator, airbox and fuel tank have to be modified also.
