Re: Nc24 air intake ducts
They are not causing your problemo.
Most NC24's dont' have them in anymore.. bad news is all 3 parts you need are discontiniued long time ago, Honda of Japan have no stock either :/
They do crop up occasionally.. I have a set for my 24 but there not on the bike at the moment. They just direct air straight at the airbox..
I take it that its running hot? Dont forget the few days we've had really hot weather most 400's running very warm (I had fan on my NC24 for first time ever)
What symptoms are you having?

i have to agree with you on that one, i think the bike has a electrical problem, some days it absolutley flies now, in hot or cold weather and then others its runs bad, pops and spits on engine braking and idles lumpy about 300-500rpm lower than it does normaly. i think its droping a cylinder randomly on these days. i cant win with it lol!
to be honest im getting a NC30 friday and will be breaking this one on ebay but would be nice to know the cause so do sell any duff parts on ebay.
cheers dave

Re: Nc24 air intake ducts
It might be the plug caps as mine was running badly too, I found out the plug caps had a spring clip inside them which had rusted away on one of them so the plug cap was just sitting resting on the plug causing an intermittent fault which was hard to trace. I replaced the spring clip from an old plug cap a mate had lying in his shed. lol. It worked a treat.

\That wee smilie can drink some Guinness. No wonder he's yellow.
