speedometer cable : where does it go?
hello
I notice this sunday the speedometer of my nc30 was not working, I guess it's the cable, but wher does it go?
not on the front wheel, obviously, but what do I have to take of the bike to replace it?
thanks

Re: speedometer cable : where does it go?
Yes, to make it easier. It uses the front sprocket to drive a nylon nut which then drives the cable.
It is held on the fornt sprocket cover by 2 bolts. You would be best to remove the left hand lower to be able to get the cable out.
It may be that the nylon nut has stripped its thread - it is a common failure.
Gazzah on here used to make alloy replacement nuts..
