Bit of a strange one, are nc30 and rc30 headstocks the same?

Post by Riley »

Hello everyone, I suspect the answer is no but I've been asked whether it is possible to use one of my fitting kits (ducati front end) on the rc30, personally I doubt it but I could be wrong. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks Paul.
Need any used Nc30 parts? Want to fit a Ducati front end to your Nc30? If so give me a shout.

Paul -

The RC30 headstock uses the same bearings & seals as the NC30 but is about 20mm longer - in fact it has exactly the same dimensions as the Kawasaki ZXR400L headstock.

The hot tip for USDs on an RC30 is ZXR400L yokes fitted with `04 or thereabouts ZX636 forks/brakes/wheel. The whole thing bolts together with no adaptors or mods required and you get radial brakes too!

Give your guy my email address if he wants pics of the finished job as that`s the setup I have on my nearly finished RC/VFR hybrid project...
