My NC30's make over!
It's still work in progress at a friend's place but he's been documenting it all for me and thought you guys might well be interested.
It all started after a drunk man tried to steal it at new year and threw it on the floor, then I dropped it on some ice and furthered the damage. A very generous friend said he could help me out and I already knew amongst other stuff that needed doing that the carbs and plugs etc needed sorting. Then we got talking about a new paint job
So far thanks to some bits from Graeme France and Geoff, it's had some general stuff...
Front discs and pads
Chain and sprockets
Oil and filter
Last month it had new MOT, tyres, tax and insurance
It's currently in bits on the mainland having it's new 'clothes' painted along with carbs, plugs, shims, caliper seals, air filter and other stuff that I can't remember
Wheels have been powder coated white again ( they were a tatty flaking white)
All the pics are on facebook if you're interested
http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=8 ... 9236a225dd" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I'll put a few choice pics up shortly.. can't wait for it to be finished, will be like having a new bike

Hi Kathryn,
Great re-build even better when you can get someone to assist
What paint scheme are you going for?

Ooooo, this is gonna look good

I think so!
Unfortunately the forks are going to let it down big time but I'm not able to sort that just yet and will start another thread about that
