Fitting an engine and water hoses question..

Is it better to fit the hoses before putting the motor in the frame or can they be fitted easily once its in ? :|
I have painted both frame and engine but my hoses are on order from Samco...
I'm keen to get on with the rebuild.... :whistle:

it will be easy if you pop the fuel pump off, fiddly with it in place.
