Im using a different setup now, i have a sprint damper, measurements are a case of trial and error you wont get full lock i struggled and have leas with the sprint damper and also fitted lock stops.

I wouldn't use one of those myself, as they arn't top quality made. The last thing you want is the steering damper failing when you need to trun into a corner

Well ill give it try to see if i get used to the feel of the setup, then maybe in the future invest in a sprint damper, was that brand new or second hand? Was 2nd hand, would pay the price new if i had to, its a totally different ride with a damper i prefer it.

The 200gbp steering damper might save your bike, like and / or both. So then it'd be justified.
It depends on how hard your riding and the setup of your bike, the NC30's are quite stable, all bikes can slap but some are much more prone to it.

When you reverse mounted the damper, where it attatches to the frame is that a threaded adapter for the rose joint you used?
