Im using a different setup now, i have a sprint damper, measurements are a case of trial and error you wont get full lock i struggled and have leas with the sprint damper and also fitted lock stops.

I wouldn't use one of those myself, as they arn't top quality made. The last thing you want is the steering damper failing when you need to trun into a corner :shock:
Are you riding on the road or track, do you ride fast or steady?

Thats the one, but as jeff said there not brilliant, but i did trust it,

I won the sprint damper on ebay for about £50.

Well ill give it try to see if i get used to the feel of the setup, then maybe in the future invest in a sprint damper, was that brand new or second hand? Tbh i canr justify nearly 200 quid on one lol, can anyone really?

Was 2nd hand, would pay the price new if i had to, its a totally different ride with a damper i prefer it.

Alright cool, well if you trusted this setup whilst riding then thatll do me, when it starts to look tatty ill invest in a more upmarket steering damper : D

If for some reason, due to riding style, bike setup or what not you expeirence a tank slapper at high speed (say on a race-track)

The 200gbp steering damper might save your bike, like and / or both. So then it'd be justified.

It depends on how hard your riding and the setup of your bike, the NC30's are quite stable, all bikes can slap but some are much more prone to it.

When you reverse mounted the damper, where it attatches to the frame is that a threaded adapter for the rose joint you used? If so where can source one of these lol and what thread is it please, thanks again
