Re: HRC carb upgrade
That was last March,pre season.
Made a shade over 60hp with really good fueling.
Mid range was perfect.
The motor was well tired at that stage, completly gutless at the end of the season.
Hence the (hopefully) stronger motor now installed.
On a different note,I recently replaced a fuel pump on an Africa Twin with a Facet solid state unit.
Going to use the same on my new setup.
It's smaller,lighter and more reliable.
Anyone used this pump?

Re: HRC carb upgrade
So which year R6 is the filter from, i might try one of them for my open carb setup.
It looks like its bolted through the original airbox mounts?
Never used one of them pumps but it only be better than an old zxr pump, will look trick too.

Re: HRC carb upgrade
It's not a BMC now that I surf the web.
It's off a carbed R6 00-02.
The stock item has a sponge type washable element with a mesh cage beneath.
The filter bolts straight on,just drill 2 holes in its lip.

Re: HRC carb upgrade
Between a NC30 HRC spec and a NC35 one, which one would you run and why?
