Wheels are back from he powdercoaters, discs are re-fitted along with the new bolts. Got the bearings in, some alloy captive wheel spacers and polished the pipework up a bit. The damaged likn-pipe and can are away to get repaired today so that should be back soon, then it's time to bring it all together and park it up for a few more months.

One is an RVF rear and the other's a VFR rear. I'm contemplating selling the VFR rear, but might keep it for bad weather riding riding and put a BT92 on there.

Whats the score with white wheels - you changing schemes? I must confess I fancy a change and some gold wheels are on my very long list of stuff to get sorted!

There will be a re-spray in the future, but that'll be a good bit into next year I guess. I'm really missing the Type 3 scheme that the bike should be, but if there come a nice replica scheme to do, I might well change my mind.
With regards to performance upgrades, there's nothing more to come. I think you're already familiar with what's under the tank, and the JHA I hope, will compliment it too. I only really have to get a new front mudguard and that's it for now.

Pulled the finger out today as I've not had much chance, really, to go and look at the bike in a few weeks. Over the remainder of my time off work I'll be doing my best to get the bike finished. The exhaust is still off getting repaired so once that's back then the bike will be done for now as I'm planning a full re-spray at some point, but I'm gathering the panels slowly. I have the new seat and a left inspection panel, I'll be using the existing Silhouette nose though and the panels on there now will be boxed and put away with the Moriwaki twin-stack.
The only thing that didn't go to plan today was the RLR top radiator. Due to the design of it, it wasn't going to be able to fit below where the HRC carb tray comes out, but after about 2 hours (and a call to Rhory for a bit of advice and help) 2 alloy spacers dropped the radiator enough to clear the tray. I'll wait and see how this goes once the fairing is on, but if it won't work I'll be selling it and getting the Rick O top rad. Another problem with it too is that the bottom of the rad sits forward and I don't know if there will be clearance issues there either, that's another thing I'll have to investigate a little further.
