I'm still not sure he lacquered the seat unit! The laquer is very thin compared to the Seed, I think he's just given it a quick coat.
Yeah if you can order that mate that would be great!

Re: My NC30 Projects!!
Inspirational stuff, Kris!
My RVF has been feeling a bit neglected of late; hopefully come Spring time, it'll get pampered once more!
P.s. Guys, with all the top projects going on here, we got to get a meet arranged at some point; I promise I wont drool too much over your bikes!

Re: My NC30 Projects!!
Pretty sure you will have clearence issues with the wider dymag and maxxis tyres. My rear dymag is 5.25 and runs the 160 maxxis rear and had terrible chunking of the rear left edge of the tyre due to the chain rubbing up against it. In the end i had to neaten off the tyre with some sandpaper but even now still, i have the narrowest of clearences. It does it on the nc30 too. The 160 pirelli fitted to the mag before had plenty of clearence so i guess maxxis tyres are wider than specced. I can only guess fitting it to a 5.5 - 6 inch rear will increase this problem. You may have to move the sprockets out to the left slightly.
You may have none of this but it's what i have experienced.

Re: My NC30 Projects!!
The 5.25 measurement (silly question) where did you take that measurement from rim to rim?
Ive just measured a standard nc30 rear wheel and that's 5.25 rim to rim also

Re: My NC30 Projects!!
Width of the wheel is measured from rim flanges, or in other words where the bead sits. Inner to inner rather than outer to outer. The rvf 17 inch on my bike is 5.5 outer to outer and 4.5 inner to inner. Will find the dymag measurement for you but it's pissing down at the mo.

Re: My NC30 Projects!!
I think I'm going to have problems with thus Dymag! I've just checked the wheel and tyre for my Red/black NC and that is a standard 18" wheel with a 160/60/18 Avon tyre. And that's catching the chain also!!
