Yeah, it's identical to the one Stacey had. Do you know anything about that system ie who has it now. I know GF bought the bike but he parted it out.tanuki wrote:nice mate is that the same as Fontyyys old system?

Viper
Nice RADS (From Rick o?). How do they compare size and weight wise to stockers. If they are thicker I would be worried about the clearance on my race headers.

I've not compared them yet, but I will now that you've asked. I know it will still fit with the fan in place and first impressions are that it's thicker. I'll have the micrometre at it tonight to see.grandpanot wrote:Viper

Re: Winter refresh (Japanese and Rick O goodies Pg 3+4)
To be precise, that top one is not one of mine - it`s a used RLR rad which used to be on my NC30. My top rad is slightly larger and curved, not flat.
The RO rads have exactly the same silhouette as the originals but the cores are around 1.5 times as thick, hence the improved cooling. They fit on the standard mountings and have fittings for the original fan. I have a pair on my bike with a full Tyga twinstack system and there are no clearance isues with the pipes, the bodywork or the front wheel...

Re: Winter refresh (Japanese and Rick O goodies Pg 3+4)
Without measuring them for exacl mearurements, however by eye the core (fins area) of the Rick O lower rad is much deeper than the Honda item. The shoulders (or sides) are the same size. I've not compared the RLR top and the standard one yer, but it looks like RLR have made the side thicker and kept the core the same size.
A few more bits have arrived over the weekend, a titanium front axle pinch bolt, an alloy speedo drive courtesy of Gazzahh and a few other bits and bobs. More pics to follow soon.

When you say alloy speedo drive do you mean to replace the nylon joby?
