thats probally the end of the line for me, as i guess ill be compensated and theyll get to point fingers at the maker, he did say its deffinatley from a cord that was in the mould.

so considering they dont do defects, thats a few people with similar defects, so i would go as far as to say they are like any product and you can get the odd one that slips "quality control" so why are they so surprised then people find these issues ? i wonder if they expect the brits to roll over take it on the chin, wipe up the mess and buy another tyre.

glad you fought your corner Ricky and cot somewhere. and respect for Bridgestone for admitting a fault. see people dont mind when companies own up and do the right thing. this holier than you bollocks pisses people off

Gary from the technical department contacted me today,
Hi Ricky,

I’m awaiting a few signatures authorising this payment, but all the paperwork has been completed.

A cheque should be sent out in the post shortly based on the remaining tread of the tyre and what you paid for it originally.
