Probably about as much interest as when I take my shiny nc30 to Box Hillarsey30 wrote:I was all for getting it going and riding to Boxhill, I bet it would get more interest than any shiney bike there. :-) Dave.

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car

Tip of the day: If you cant fix it with a hammer, you have an electrical problem.

Peter has made a start with cleaning and painting.
He tried posting photos, but I think they are too big.
Dave.

Re: NC30 from Hell
Wonderful what a good clean can do for a bike! In some respects being filthy can help a bike, I bought this off eBay for my 400/4:

Thirty-two years of grime & chainlube had saved the chrome & a good degrease & polish gave way to this:

Bought it from a guy in Alaska, took FOUR days to get to my house in the UK!

Re: NC30 from Hell re incarnated
Walked down the road to check Pete's progress.
We removed the carbs to free off the choke linkage, now back together and rideable.
New fasteners and bits and pieces needed after test ride and check over.
Dave.
