I reckon a foam pad would be a much easier build, so I'm ok with that. You can move it back as far as you want Carl, if there's too much room for some people it can always be padded out.

just my opinion.

Yes I think thats the way to go.I havent got the fibreglass yet but I dont think the standard seat is going to be any use anyway. My old bike is still together,so I will try it on there.I could do with stripping it now though so I will try and hurry this up a bit.We did some fittings with a mate who I used to spanner for.We had looked at some pics of Dan at the Manx,he is really hunched and forward on the bike.I dont know if you read an earlier post but I am trying a 675 front on as well.If it works I will do the brackets for that.See how it goes.I think the seat is a 2 piece with undertray.Welder bloke has got his cast off his arm so as soon as the seat gets here I will push on.

All sounds good, I'd have a wee tinker myself but as I said in another post I'm not home for another 3 weeks or so. The triumph looks well, but I might just stick with honda stuff as its what I have spare in my garage, plus being able to standardise between my bikes would be a bonus.

Keep us posted.
