How much are standard rvf wheels going for???? Are dymags that much of an advantage?

On the race track they are money well spent. On the street....just something to talk about while parked at the coffee house.
On the race track every ounce you can remove the from the bike is worth it. Just some of them aren't so cheap to remove.

I don't know about the "can't tell the difference unless you ride on the track" thing. A long time ago I fitted a dymag to the front of my road bike, admittedly it was used for fast sports riding in the mountains not going to the shop for a loaf of bread, but I could not believe the difference that it made. Chalk and cheese. It was worth every cent that I paid for it.
cheers

Me too. (unless someone gave me a pair and I'd probably fit them.

Think there was a 3 spoke dymag listed on eBay a few weeks back at 500, it went in less than an hour and now I wish I'd have bloody bought it!
There's plenty of bargains out there seen loads of wheels go cheap as chips you just have to be fast to get them or you will end up paying a proper price for one lol.
