It's OOS on their website, please tell me it's just that they're going to get some more done in due course? That would ruin all my plans unless Gav at Jap4 doesn't sell out before I get around to it!

I did ask a while ago about prices, and he said he tries to keep most stuff on the shelf. He's got two available according to his ebay listing.... I guess it's probably best to ask Tyga what their plans are.

Already have, they'd no plans to make anymore for the foreseeable future, very gutted as I've just ordered a carbon lowers and seat

I suppose they've sold a load and now the market has dried up for the time being. There has to be a minor future market for the stuff as some are bound to get broken. I also asked if there were any other bits they'd be junking too. Anyone with a set of the stuff in their pocket might be on to a winner if they don't use them and the start going for silly prices....

Not necessarily all doom and gloom. Reply from Paul at Tyga on my enquiry as to whether or not they were discontinuing the upper and/or any of the other carbon bits:
"The situation at the moment is that we (temporarily we hope) don't have the ability to make the large carbon parts, such as upper, lower and seat. All the other parts are unaffected and will continue in our range. There is a good chance that we will be able to offer these again in the future"
To me that sounds like an issue with an outside supplier rather than a lack of interest or conscious decision to producing the bits, which is slightly better news. I assume that they cannot produce the larger carbon in house as the cost of the kit required to produce relatively small numbers of large parts would be prohibitive.

Still not date or anything where they will be available though, not great as I ordered the lowers and tail last week lol

As I said above, Gav at Jap4 is listing two on eBay, so all is not lost if you can brave the expense right now if you are not willing to risk them becoming unobtainium fairings in due course. Right now, I'd rather spend money I don't have on a new rear shock, some decent rads and a half decent belly pan that's not falling to bits before spending four figures on the cosmetics...

Aren't they a little different from stock and also very hard to find, or am I thinking of something else? Do you have any links? The reason I like the Tyga carbon ones is that I want to keep the stock shape, and I like what they did with their one where they painted the white bits of the original scheme white, and left all the colours apart from the RVF logos as carbon. I guess I could do almost the same with non carbon panels and paint them black, but bacl isn't carbon fibre....
