The original screens aesthetically are the best imo personally hate the unfinished edges on aftermarket stuff screen trims even tacker looking, I have one good original and a very good copy from ebay a while back wish I could find where I got it from surprised that screen manufacturers haven't realised that there's a few bob to be made making good copies of the original considering nos screens if obtainable were over 200 quid.

So its obviosly not original because of the lip but its pretty well made, id say its allmost 5mil thick too.

Yep aftermarket but what was the reason you were after an origianl screen for? Your paint job isnt authentic and a newer non-origianl screen is likely to be in better condition anyway?

I saw it going cheap on ebay and thought it would be worth a punt, if it did turn out to be original id have kept it safe in a box with a few other fairly decent standard parts ive started to collect. Seeing as it wasnt original i got some money refunded and a tidy standard shape screen (which i refer over double bubble) for the sum total of £18 delivered after the refund. Oh and paint or bodywork isnt authentic but its not staying like that for much longer
