Well my relay must work coz it went "clickity click" yesterday. But the lights still wouldn't work.

Do the UK speck bulbs need to be fitted for the relay to work? Currently have Jap spec fitted.

I did this over the weekend and took loads of pictures so will be writing up a guide.

It's quite easy.

You will use 4 connectors on the realy

One for headlamp power (from the black and ride wire in the connector (tap into it don't cut it)

One for relay earth.. theres an earth on the frame right by the light connector so wire it to to there.

Then you have two more.. one for the light switch and one to feed the lights.

This is the white and grey wire.. you want to cut the wire that comes from the switch into the block and use this and then the output power from the relay goes to the otherside of the white connector.

Will make a full guide probably towards the weekend as i'm busy but it's a doddle as everythings in the same place.

The bulbs fitted makes no difference. Unless they're blown ;)

Sounds like you may have a dodgy switch. Try cleaning it.

If the relay clicks when you turn the light switch on then the feed to the relay is working ok.

Perhaps you dont' have it all wired up ok.

I'll do a proper guide with pictures when I have the time but for now i've made this. It should explain everything.
