Fontyys bike runs a ram air system so the float bowl breather pipes have to be plumbed into the airbox to apply air pressure above the fuel in the float bowl, you wont have to do this if running a open HRC style airbox.

right so with the open air box do you need to use a fuel pump??

Nope, there's no need for a fuel pump if you're running with an open airbox.

Ronin thanks for the pm gonna get myself a set of HRC springs and 150 sets from Rick oliver made my own trumpets hehe and thanks for the reply about the pump

There are 3 hoses on the standard airbox: 1 on the left to drain any water that gets on top of the lid, and 2 at the rear that run from the sub air filter to the carbs to displace the air when the carb slides move. Having none of them fitted won't make a difference to performance.
