and the throttle cables now snapped feck (new one on route)

on the plus side atleast it never went in a week or 2 and iv have to strip in down again

the carb that was half a turn to far out will explain the fact i had 1 cleanish plug and 3 mingers

and iv just clicked on its supposed to have 2 throttle cables-i only have the pull,do i really need the push? as the cables completely missing iv got no idea where to route it

thus far the parts iv found to be missing are

exhaust clamp
4 carb clamps
1 throttle cable
1 snorkel
1 rubber flap
and majority of the bellneck seals

the list is likely to be extended by the time u finish this task

The return cable isn't essential for the bike to run. I don't have one on my NC30. It actually gives a lighter throttle which is nice, but the trade off is a safety one in that you will lose a mechanical means to shut the throttle if the something happens to the carbs (throttle sticks open, something fails etc.)

when i took it out today for a propper test its still there-badly

starts at 5k and goes away at 7

so far

new plugs/filter/oil
carbs clamped in (clamps were missing)-pilots screws set back to stabdard 2.25)
jets/emulsion tubes out cleaned
standard belmouths in

its alot colder today than yesterday but i only took it round the block so never got out of 1st

theres only 2 things left and im not convinced they,ll be helpful-airbox snorkel and the flap under the carb tray

opinions

Both of those parts are critical to how it runs.

they were delivered today so ill stick em on tomorrow-it seem alot flatter now higher up im assuming its either the standard bellmouths or the .25 turn in on the pilot screws

if the snorkel/flap resolves the issue im pondering over the idea of turning the pilots out slightly
