They don't hold a candle to the Black Shadow though.

Mind you, there not 50k+ so might be in the more affordable range :-)

Jay Leno's Vincent

Nice little video of the one owned by Jay Leno to wet your appetite, who even admits it's one of his favourite motorcycles ever... and if you watch the video you'll see how many are in his 'garage' a-ha!

PS: Everyone should watch that video... if you don't want one after watching that video you must be made.

PPS: There very expensive.
Too big and heavy, and hard to kick over.

An rc30/45 owner friend bought one, only had it 6 days, then it was stolen.
Dave.

I still have 4 of my 5 RC30s and a UK NC30 and NC35 that I will keep, but a low, light bike may be the way forward, classic Italian or Japanese perhaps.

Dave. Always looking for something different.
A man of fine tastes.
And either very wealthy or very skint

How about a nice 2 stroke, small light & good ones are soaring in value.
NSR 250 MC21 SP or 28 SP perhaps or how about the even better looking 3XV TZR

In all seriousness tho' how about a nice 70,000 mile Transalp, I'm sure I could do you a swap for one of the RC30s......

I had 2 Vipers, 1 of them for 20 years, no thanks.
Dragging clutch, oil leaks, poor lights, stalling, hard to start, stripped mag drive pinion, and slipping kickstart lever.

Dave.

I don't think there is any getting around it Dave,

the NC's and RC's you own are perect.

Fun, small, light, reliable, no need for kicking them over like 2-smokes, handle well, comfortable if only ridden for short distances, etc etc .............

I can't think of a bike that would be better!!!

That's terrible about it being stolen.. lovely bike to ride though, I wish I could afford one.

I guess for an every-day bike it wouldn't be ideal, kicking over any big cylinder bike is no fun, especially on a cold morning.

Still, the centrifugal clutch is a work of art.

Hmm. Back to the drawing board... i'll think of something! :D

Something light.
Comfortable
Electric Start.

ZRX 400?

Drew / Moriwaki man has one over here... Beet TI system, FCR carbs, Ohlins rears. Goes like stink and is really comfy to ride.

Or one of the new CB400 FI bikes ;)

Too big to use but a good pic

A new efi CB400 (nc42) is pretty high up on my wanted list, being a lightweight well-mannered steed.

Not sure if they're sold new in the uk, I'm sure some greys will be along sometime soon!

Edit: Dang! Neo beat me to the naked 400 suggestion. Great minds and all that....

Take a look at my 350 desmo at Stafford which will be on the ducat owners club stand. They are a good bunch and will make anyone feel welcome unlike some stands!
