Re: CBR400 RRR rear shock
What about a cbr600 f2 shock ?
Direct fit to nc29?
Will it give me better ride than stock?

Re: CBR400 RRR rear shock
Ok so it looks like there's a 1000 threads on this subject. Sorry to of started another one. I gotta say there's some fox f3 shocks out there for a decent price if that will fit directly on to my NC29. I'll try the search function again and dig threw the old posts. I'm sure the vets here are tired of this subject. Hey man, this 400 thing is new to me sort of.. (I've owned a Xr400 and a YZF400 but those are dirt bikes).

Re: CBR400 RRR rear shock
Does anyone know the critical dimensions of a CBR600RR 2009/2010 shock or if it would fit an NC29?
I have been searching for a long time now with no success!
Cheers,
Al

Re: CBR400 RRR rear shock
So what other model CBR600 shocks fit? Such as that from the FX or FY model, F1, or even the 2009/2010 model bikes?

Re: CBR400 RRR rear shock
I've had a fireblade shock in with G/F's linkage which made it taller. Cant remember the year as was done well before 2000

Re: CBR400 RRR rear shock
It was on my CBR4/600. I am sure it was a 97/98 Blade shock with the GF linkage. The bike felt really nice to ride on the road.

Re: CBR400 RRR rear shock
Does any one know if a rear shock from a 2001 CBR600F will be a direct replacement for that on a 1988 CBR400 NC23??

This is for the NC23. Also people may be interested that Mr. Graeme France is now selling these shocks.DK-Tandy wrote:the BETOR shock from the cbr600 fh is a direct fit :)
