yep tried that ta and can get close...just thinking of all the options. Looks like its a goer so ive knocked the bearings out and gonna send it for some paint.Evilchicken0 wrote:Why not tap the bearing code for the SZR into google and find the outside dia, then you might get a pair of 20mm bearings for the FZR spindle.

Thanks Kayla, speak tomorrow.Kayla850 wrote:Yep, no probs. It'll give me a chance to sort a few pics out too. It's in very good condition
The reason the 140/70 R18 went on is that my garage told me it was fit. Amusingly, the reason they told me this is that the manufacturer told them it would fit! So Avon manufacture a tyre they think is suitable for the 3EN2 which isn't.

Did they fit the wheel afterwards ???
If they did, take it back demand a refund, or report them to trading standards. What they did is just dangerous.

Nah, fitted loose. They've always looked after me really well, forever trying to stop me killing myself. They say they'll cover whatever I want as a result of this, refund or other tyre.Evilchicken0 wrote:Did they fit the wheel afterwards ???

Thanks Kayla. yep i shall have to make up new spacers. I started looking around for a XJR4 wheel though in a moment of indecisionKayla850 wrote:The 1WG spindle is 17mm not 20mmEvilchicken0 wrote:Why not tap the bearing code for the SZR into google and find the outside dia, then you might get a pair of 20mm bearings for the FZR spindle. The bearing widths would need to be the same too, otherwise you'll need a new right side and sprocket carrier (internal) spacer.

Yes the FZR400 210mm disc is the smallest rear disc you can get.
