Ah i see. 50mm thats quite a bit, is the R6 shock shorter than the FZR then?

Bloody nice idea, how much ride height does it give you over stock?

The R6 shock is 50mm shorter than the 3TJ shock and the adapters can give more or less ride height, depending on where the holes are drilled. I generally send them out to give standard ride height but others have asked for longer to give slightly more ride height.

Hi Mike,

I was thinking about it, but I've ridden it a bit more, changed the oil, balanced the carbs, sorted the fuelling and am starting to love it- it's bloody quick! Paint next :grin:

Too right! We went out today for quiet potter- Stokesley > Helsmley > Pickering > Whitby (for chips!) > Home. The road from Pickering to Whitby is the awesomest road ever :grin:

Where abouts are you from??
I am doing a 4/6 build starting in october time and would be great to know somebody local enough who done it before.

Hi Kayla,

I'm trying to finish off a 4/6. Pretty much the same as yours, 3TJ with 4JH engine.

I'm interested in what way you went with the airbox ? Did you mod the 3TJ to fit ?

Mine will be a track/race bike only.
