Bit of an update. Few new pictures, got the wheels back and new front tyre, managed to get them on this week. Also got all the brakes back together with new pads, nice braided hoses. The new brake and clutch levers have come as well which im quite impressed with for the price of them. Also put on the grips and bar ends.









This week im hopefully going to order some bits off gavin at jap4. My dads gone away for a week, but next job is to get the engine in.

Managed to get most of the bits ordered from Gav at jap4. Decided to go for the new T10 fairing which will be coming in a couple of weeks.

Need some opinions on what decals/graphics to go for, im stuck between 2 designs. I did like the LCR playboy kit but then i saw that someone else has already done it on a nc30. I know most of you like to keep nc30's original, but let us know what you think looks best...

i like the new tyga kit, i like picture no 2.

Piccy no1 will go with your blue scheme and will match the graphics, but scheme two is nicer!

Just looking at your pics, if your using a front hugger either standard or Tyga your going to need front brackets which means taking the forks off again, I'm sure you know that, but don't want you to get caught out.

I agree with you on the graphics kris, do you think mixing and matching the graphics is a stupid idea when im going for a race replica theme?

And as for the brackets, i just had a sudden worry but then i remembered we made a small slit in the plastic bracket so we can pop them on and off at any time!

Nah, don't mix n match do one or the other mate!

I'm not sure if sliting the plastic brackets is going to work Tom.
The plastic brackets are held in place with a metal circlip on the forks and even if that isn't in place correctly the bloody hugger bounces and knocks like hell mate. I reckon your going to have to take the forks off and buy new brackets!

I know it's a pain in the arse but it's worth doing properly, you need that hugger taught!

Another update on my project, its looking more like a bike as it stands now, rather than a load of bits in a box and a rolling chassis. As i mentioned in my last update i ordered some bits off gavin. We decided to go against the T10 fairing, as we didnt like how the tank sat on the frame so we went with the rc211v kit instead. So that all arrived along with my samco hoses, maggot end can and a few other bits.

So now we had the engine in and pretty much all the wiring in where it needed to go, we thought we'd put the top rad on, try the exhausts and have a trial fit of the fairings. I were really suprised at the quality of the fairings, i know theyre not cheap but theyre definitely worth the money.

Some of you may not like the black exhaust, i know most of you on here like a bit of chrome or stainless but the pipes were a bit battered so i thought why not, and its in-keeping with the bike, weve also made a link pipe so we can fit the maggot straight onto it...

I also received my rear sets from jacknell off here, spent a bit of time on one of them and were happy with the results..thanks again for them..
