This is a problem - you need to make hole on intake or in throttle bodies. I don't think in reasonable consider you also need to rerack them.Variablevalves suck wrote:The injectors do fit into the intake but this may be a good thing, could you not work this in.
Will appreciate if you send me measurement for Triumph TT600 TB.Variablevalves suck wrote:If you need any info on the TT600 bodys my local shop happens to be a Triumph dealer so i could talk directly to the mech if needed.

Spoke to the mech today and i was unable to get measurements as only bike in had the tank on. Took a look at the service book and the bodys would be easy to rerack.
The injectors fit into the rubber manifold and maybe harder to change for different width as im unsure how they fit together, look like a moulded plastic tube so unable to tell if they are adjustable. Maybe worth taking a look on the Triumph forums.

Parus: There's an NC42 Revo efi engine on yahoo japan.

I doubt they'll ship overseas (not many Jap sellers will) but some auction deputy services offer the ability to ask the seller a question. Might be worth asking if they'll sell the TB's separately.

No, they don't. And the price for the full engine include postage from Japan to Ukraine + broker interest cost me about price of the full NC29 in good condition or ever more. So, this is too far out of my budget. Better to buy GSR400 TB or other and play with them....Cammo wrote:Parus: There's an NC42 Revo efi engine on yahoo japan.

Thanks mate. I have bought them - I have spoken with seller to split this item that I could buy them - so, things going better now. Now I'm having headache how to fit camshaft sensor, but good thing with MicroSquirt I can use one-theeth wheel for camshaft signal.Cammo wrote:A set of CB400 throttle bodies on yahoo japanhttp://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r70346638

I think it will be a lot less headaches starting off with these TB's. Good price too!

Camshaft position sensor
Thanks guys from Durbahn and fourfingers (who direct me to this link) http://www.durbahn.de/RC30Sensors.htm They made camshaft position sensor directly to camshat, not made additions trigger wheel on the end of the intake camshaft like I was plannig before. They ever used crank position sensor and used it as donor. For now this is most good idea - problem only to fabricate bracket to fit sensor.
So, enjoy link and picture...

Yeh that looks like a better option, although welding something onto a camshaft is not something I'd like to try!
Any hall effect sensor can be used, looks like durbahn also made a custom mount for the sensor but hard to tell in the pic.
