Mine has a Scorpion end can, other than that bog standard (comes with annoying flat spot lol) and kicked out 56.64 bhp at the rear wheel @ 13038 rpm......

Sounds about what I'd have expected can we take it then that the dyno isn't under-reading! (unless that is you have a VFR750)vfrderek wrote:Mine has a Scorpion end can, other than that bog standard (comes with annoying flat spot lol) and kicked out 56.64 bhp at the rear wheel @ 13038 rpm......

Gutted we couldn't do it (I'm really fed up of not being able to ride a bike now).

Re: Official Dyno Day --- Interest?
Thanks to all the folks that made the effort to come ,what a mix of bikes that came today some nc24s, nc30s ,1x zx400, 1xrc30 ,1xcbr400, 2xgsxr1000s ,1x600srad , 1xzx10r ,1x1850cc hardly able to( never heard that one b4
) 500 foot long chopper , 1xgsxr750fighter thingy and two late comers 1x2005 r1 and a 09 buell 1125r (dam ugly looking thing from the front)
forgot to bring the dyno runs back home so going from memory but here gos
rc30 95bhp ( get me my jacket and lid)
2xnc24s running 54 and 55 bhp
zx400 made a healthy 62bhp
what a mix in the nc30s ,hamsters bike ran 45bhp 3bhp down on his last visit ????,looks like some he has some internal probs or its a bad motor, one did a run of 55bhp, the vimto nc30 was set up last week and made 55.5bhp ,the nice nc30 with the twin stack pipes did a run of 57.5bhp ( set up on a dyno jet dyno runs 62bhp) so my machine reads 4-5bhp down on a dyno jet machine ,but i knew that .my nc30 track bike was 59.7bhp today 1bhp down on the best ever run of 61 .and last but not least cbr400 nc29 did a nice healthy run of 57bhp
The day ran smooth and everyone got fed and watered ,nice to meet you all but didnt have mutch time to chat , i can email the graphs to owners if they want to post em up on here ,i will get em 2mrw from the unit and put em on a stick . thanks again to you all ,kev@projex

Re: Official Dyno Day --- Interest?
Apologies to all for not making the day. I've had my camera back from my neighbour, sounds like it was a really good day! I've been told Kev is a top bloke with a very healthy NC30 racebike (59.6bhp) and everyone else was nice and friendly.
I'm quite pleased myself with the 54bhp from the bike I originally brought for spare parts :D Will be keeping that one for a while
Thanks to my neigbour for taking the 24, I think he's even starting to like old bikes now!
I'm uploading the videos onto youtube but there 200mb each so it'll take a while... i'll post the links tomorrow when their done.
Congratulations to Zimm if i've been told correctly who had the highest bhp 400 of the day, although he had to break it first
