turbo it!
if you have the cash you can turbo/s-charge anything.

if it were me id find a turbo that would be suitable for the job, have heavier conrods/pistons made then get an exhaust made up to power the turbo, add a pressure guage and with a little setup time you would have an nc30 that would stick it to an rc30

turbo systems are pretty simple and your local engineering firm could produce conrods, pistons, ect in no time - if you have the cash of course.

Yeah but by the time you have spent all that on a turbo you would have to upgrade the gearbox. I know the rvf has stronger cogs so that could be done. I'd rather supercharge it so i don't have the turbo lag because it has such a small engine. Hmm

Hi again,
would it not be easy to try the bigger motor route, the 433 conversion looks really good. Putting a vtr1000/vfr750 engine in would be insane, tho i've never seen it done to completion. But ulimately i think space to put stuff on a nc30 would be the major problem.
Good look tho cos its summat ive always wanted to do, but now cant afford to try it.
Cheers
Ian

a turbo has a bit of lag yeah, but a supercharger saps power from your crank shaft.
its six of one half a dozen of the other. turbo is just easier to fit.

though now that i think of it, i think there is an electric supercharger out there somwere, wich hooks up to a battery and therefore does not hook up to the crank wich would in turn do away with the belts and wont sap power from your engine.
i'll have a look and see if i can find some info.

The amount of power the supercharger makes cancels out what it takes in the 1st place. I'v heard of the electric supercharger but not convinced and 1psi more pressure isn't really worth it

just use backroads with plenty of bends and no long straights, then the zx10 getting away from you won't be an issue. problems solved!
