nope or come close to one.... and i have been riding my NC29 for 6 years.
You need to ride that thang a bit harder, tank slappers aint too hard to come across on a 400!
Find a grippy bumpy surface out of a corner and wind it on if you've got sticky tyres... hang on loose!!

i haven't bought them yet, but im trying to contact some of my friends who owns a shop in the PI if they have this brand of steering dampers.
the roads in PI are sometimes bumpy, some are worst with deep holes like small craters. its kinda an obstacle course out there. road humps, open manholes, sand on sharp curves, gravel, slippery cover steel plates, bumpy roads, dogs/cats crossing, etc.. :D
i never used a steering damper before, but my bike buddies told me it somehow it helps to have a steering dampers on their bikes with the road conditions we have.
if ever i have installed one in my bike, ill post it here... :)

Firstly I'll assure LP that the road conditions in the PI are far and away a lot worse than anything you'll come across in the UK....full stop.
Secondly chum, if you want to fit a steering damper to your bike then go ahead, and the best of luck to you. It's your bike, it looks lovely and trick with all your aftermarket parts on it so let us all see the pics if you go ahead. If we only did things because we absolutely needed to then no-one would have ever climbed Everest or gone into space etc etc and where would be the fun in that??
You go for it mate, if you fancy it dont let anyone put you off.
That said I'd probably be riding a big trailie out there, or a street legal crosser.......oh, or maybe a big quad!!!
Good Luck, keep us posted!
Marty.

UK does have OK roads. but dont let that make you think that i have never seen a bad road.. hun i come from Africa where 75% of the continent has NO roads! pot holes big enough to hide a 40ft truck in for 5 mins!
one of my daily commute roads was voted worst road in East Anglia on BBC look east in 2007! it hasnt changed since then.
i have m8s who fit power commanders, fatter rear wheels, and all sorts of other stuff to their bikes. not one of them rides a NC29 so what they fit to their bikes has No bearing on mine. what i fit to mine has no use to theirs.
remember that each make/model/age of bike requires different stuff. sounds like your just keeping up with the Jones next door.. but with bike parts!

I had two road accidents in the past (good thing it wasn't with my NC29). Those were not my fault, but its because of the road condition. One is due to unexpected hump in a dark and unlighted road. Second, my front tire skid on a slippery drainage cover steel plate. Fortunately, i had no bad injuries. I know how bad sometimes the roads in PI and I already got the results. One of my bike buddy just recently had an accident from a scattered sand in sharp curve, resulting to a dislocated collar bone, two broken ribs and crashed 05' CBR600.
Since I invested a lot with my project bike, i dont want to take a risk of a possible tank slap. One tank slap, my costly repair will begin and another injury! That's also a reason why I'm thinking of putting a steering damper on my bike.
Steering dampers are built to have a purpose, if it will help with my ride, i'll go for it. If it'll cost me another arm or leg, i don't care. :D
if this HyperPro will not fit, then i'll try of something else. :D
cheers!!!
