The list is long and on going. There used to be a pretty significant build thread here before a crash of the board killed it.

I posted the first time it clocked 140 as well.

That's a sweet photo that! Is there engine mods included in that list? Still a legitimate 142mph is mind boggling for a 400! Wonder if mine would reach 140...thrown out of a plane

Indicated over 130mph - on a private road of course.

It was re-jetted by the previous owner to 118 / 120 (I think) and has a D&D can but other than that, it's stock..

A decade ago with the old nc30 we've been touring in belgium and luxembourg and on the motorways we've measured with couple friends on bikes (including a duc 916 and a yam FZR1000) and also a llow-up car with our luggage nearly 214km/h (carbs dyno jetted, full ethos, pipercross air). On my NC35 (well setup carbs, tsr sp1) I have been clocked ~210 km/h. Non are officially recorded. I hope I can test my other nc35 with the aim dash and software some day and see what the recorded data will tell.

I don't think that the speeds mentioned by the OP are too far out of the question for even a stock healty NC30 with a lightweight rider on a good road.

My 1987 CBR250R was GPS'd at 202km/h which is about 125mph, and thats only a 250 on a good straight track.

I can get the nc30 up to 200km/hour GPS 'd uphill with a short straight at the local track..no long straight unfortunately, but if it can get that I don't see why 130 would be hard. That was with a half Yamamoto system, 14t sprocket, 118, 115 jets.

1991 F3 TT, Hislop did timed 132 practice and 140 in the race on his Honda UK NC30, presumably with full HRC kit.

His 1989 rvf750 did 174. [rc30 type, not rc45 1994 onwards]
