A HRC tray will have nothing to do with a flat spot, 9 times out of 10 that'll be needle height

The tray does not affetc fuelling - the carbs need setting up and you need to be sure they are all clean and lovely. Witchcraft it is not!

Great thread
My road bike is completely standard aside from braided hoses and the RO fork mood. It runs pretty sweet but was thinking about the carb and flywheel mods.
I don't fancy dialing in more startling revs into a clutch and first gear already set up for 65mph. That must accelerate clutch wear and add drive train strain on gear changes.
And I don't have the time to whip the carbs off and on and off and on testing jets and drill holes.
Think I'll spend the money on a new shock.
Appreciate the insight and experience shared.
