Well when I bought the bike the back brakes weren't working at all, and the front pads had just been replaced so I assume the front ones are fine. I'll be contacting honda tomorrow for seals, and seeing around if I can find someone with new pistons or ones used ones in good condition.

Not really, the nut that holds the handle bars is the most important I find.

Well after seeing that bud I would go through the bike with a fine tooth comb .

wemoto.com often do seals and piston kits, they sell aftermarket pistons and seals too which can be a lot cheaper.

Thanks for the links. I was thinking why not just turn down some stainless steal bar and make the pistons, seems simple enough? What's everyone's thoughts on this?

If you have a lathe and you are fairly competent in using it,Then yes,I have made them in the past.
But remember if you have to buy the stainless it may not be worth it.

Or maybe some ally bar? I think some of the modern bikes have ally pistons, or so I've read on the net somewere, which means it has to be true!!! lol.

what about a nice set of oak pistons dove tail of course
