Funny, I was looking at an NSR the other day and could have sworn it mounted with 4 studs, and the spokes were sloped the opposite direction.

Guess it was a different MC##...

NSR150's have the 4 stud single-sided mount, but the wheel would be too narrow to use anyway.

I've just weighed my VFR 750 rear wheel

I was pretty shocked at the weight of it

5.8kg!!!!! the bathroom scales also said it had no fat content either ;)

But as i said its for aesthetic reasons for me.

I guess its heavier cos of the extra width and the fact its designed for a much bigger bike.

Is that for the 5 spoke rear smev, or 8 spoke?

I'm guessing it would be a 5-spoke, the 8 is too wide to fit. :)

Is the RC30 wheel a direct bolt-on?
Thorsten Durbahn has PVM wheels for the RC30 on his website...

Its for the 5 spoke rear wheel mate.

I'm fitting it for the looks rather than anything else so i'm not too bothered about the weight!!

i'm not sure if my scales are out so i'll weight the standard one when it comes off too for a direct comparrisson :D

New addition which I was just reminded of: Delkevic

i'm not sure, but I think they are direct copies of the stock wheels?
They have wheels available for NC30 and NC35, at £200 each.
I have asked them for some more info...
