Re: Exhaust still doesn't line up right!!??
Has the exhaust can been cut off the standard exhaust and if so does it fit into a sleeve?
This may prevent it from being fully seated if too large...
* Edit- looking again this doesn't appear to be the case. I think just apply a bit of force on the strap around the exhaust so it is inline/near enough to get a bolt through the hanger.

The manifold is the strongest piece of the of the whole exhaust,That wont bend.
Unless the motor has been out,And dropped.

The bit in the box "CMSMJ1" is part of the exhaust, it's just the way it looks in the photo buddy.
And yes "hunter" the bike has been dropped before on the exhaust side, but I don't know if the motors been out before.

Re: Exhaust still doesn't line up right!!??
Right,
Been out this morning, undone the manifold bolts then tried to tighten the bolts on the end can hangers........no joy, as there wasn't enough play in it, so I've undone the whole system to give me as much maneuverability as possible and its only just gone, so it now looks like this:

I've only done the 2 hanger bolts up atm, so the rest of the system is unfixed

Only just fitted a standard indicator in........its a tight fit, but I have noticed in this photo that there is a dent in the bottom of the end can (If you look carefully there's a small scuff and you can see a dent), could this have been shunted up the rear and is why its still not sitting perfectly?

I'm wanting it to sit like this!? but I did get it off ebay from a breakers!
Just hoping now that the rest of the system fixes and tightens up ok, as when I was bolting it to the hangers it still had a tight spot in it!

Yeah I can see that now buddy, no offence meant, just was thinking of all sorts you know. Got it all bolted up, it was a bit tight doing the downpipes from the manifold but ill just have to live with it for now, may post a thread in the for sale section looking for another standard system (non damaged though!)
