Kinda, I am turning my NC24 into a track bike as i've brought an NC35 for everyday use, orignally the 24mods were going to be subtle but now that I have another VFR I can be a bit more relaxed with what I do :) plus if something breaks or doesn't work I still have the other bike to ride.

The hydraulic clutch idea came about after seeing that NC30 and looking through my spares to realise I have one.. it should just bolt onto the 24 motor as the casings are the same. The 400Z idea came about after speaking to one of my friends in Japan who has done something similar to what i'm doing.

Original plan was just to ditch as much as possible, put some bigger wheels (better rubber) on and that would be it (hence the 3 different vfr750 wheels downstairs)

The plan as it is now

Imagine that with the NC35 frontend, in the rothmans scheme, with the NC24 seat (single converted) hydraulic clutch, high-level race exhaust system, and a few other things I have yet to test out! =)

My friends bike over in Japan has a carbonfibre bellypan which looks great! I quite like the idea of that, should improve cooling a bit with the exposed rad too.

VTR1000 is 22860-MT7-000 Originally designed for the NR750!!!!

Hmm -010 is deff going to be some kinda revision. It might well be, the slave cylinder should be easy enough to change if you can get hold of one?

And originally designed for the NR eh.. i'll have to see if that fits haha, can say that I have part NR750 lol!

The NR750 uses the ER9 plugs too I think?

I've actually got one, infact while I have a '88 VFR750FJ it was late registered in '89 and currently has an FK engine in and that came with the slave cylinder. I just refitted the FJ slave as it meant I didn't have to bleed the clutch. I've now bought a braided clutch line so I need to do it anyway and I'll swap slaves at the same time. Thinking about it I also have an VFR750FL slave and sprocket cover too.

Anything 'MT7' was designed for the NR750. Have a look here http://www.vsource.org/VFR-RVF_files/BHondaPCNs.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; , it shows all the Honda 'PCN's which tell you which machine a part was originally designed for.

The VTR has (IMO) a much nicer master too as it's one with a remote res like the brake on the NC30/NC35, I don't know the bore/ratio so I don't know if the VTR master will work with the VFR slave (or vice-versa).

Oooh I see, yeah that'd look the business! Oh the 24 has the remote res too.. will have to pop down the lbs and make use of their parts books and check the bore size. ^_^

-edit-

just seen this

on ebay.. for £30 i might just get it and see :D

It's not actually that bad considering the NR750 on ebay fetched 49k, 300 for the master cylinder is a bargain, 14mm id too so it'd work with the std brakes :D

It's probably identical to the VFR one apart from the lid...
