No such pump.
The block that the two pipes come from is the pressure sensor that will open when switched by the cdi and pressurize the float bowls.

What should be connected to the two pipes on the pressure sensor?(how do the float bowls get pressurized)Variablevalves suck wrote:No such pump.

Do you know what the pipes on the carbs should be connected to?

Is the devise on the end of the pipe some sort of filter? If you look at the photo Iv posted of the carbs with the pipes labeled up can you tell me where they should all go. Please..

Well, the pipes are as 4hundread said earlier on, fuel, breathers, overflow and sensor. You can see their routing on that hi-res pic I posted. The sensor looks like this:

The item on the end of the short tube is a small, oval thing. I blew into it and sucked on it and it seems to have some sort of damper mechanism inside which must take any spikes out of the pressure pulses going from the sensor to the CDI and carbs I presume. It is also drawing air into the system, so might well be a simple one-way valve. It is connected via a very small bore brass tube.

Thanks the photos are spot on. The overflow pipes are long do you know what route they should take from the carbs? On the back of the air box there are two channels that look like they have had pipes running through them, is this where the overflow pipes should go?Gash wrote:Well, the pipes are as 4hundread said earlier on, fuel, breathers, overflow and sensor. They go under the frame cross-member, below the rectangular, offside air duct hole in the cross-member of the frame. Along the top, offside of the airbox and drop down the side. Someone has put mine through the air-duct mount, but they should go underneath this cross-member next to the sensor pipe going to the carbs.

Many thanks, that's a fantastic help. Iv only got to get my hands on the oval bit and the brass tube and that should finish it off. have you got any ideas where I could find the missing parts?
