I sent them to Hypermoto in Gloucester.
They did a top job for £10 a carb (for already stripped carbs) plus £10 delivery back to you.
Came back lovely and shiny

OK so you sent them in a bank of four, removed jets, pilots, float valves, etc. Did a sweet job and local. Tidy. If you can confirm what you stripped prior to sending that would be great.

Re: Carb part, any idea what it is/where it goes?
I removed:
Float bowl covers
Pilot jets
Main jets
Emulsion tubes
Floats
Float needles
Slide covers
Slides
Slide springs
Needles
Top plate
Velocity stacks
I sent them everything but the velocity stacks, slide covers, jets and emulsion tubes.
The velocity stacks just didn't need cleaning, the slide covers I polished up myself and the jets were being changed plus the emulsion tubes were clean as a whistle anyway.
I mainly sent the carbs for cleaning as I bought them because the ones currently on my bike are fucked beyond fixing and I'm fed up with playing with carbs. So I'm doing everything properly once this time

Basically, the cap on the carb that's held on by screws, the big spring underneath and plastic slide attached to the rubber diaphragm underneath. Look at the parts fiche diagram E-16-1. Parts 10, 11 and 12.

If there is something that you would like added to the carb kit then let me know and I will go to work on it. I will be adding choke plunger dust cap seals soon.

Sounds good, would think the rubber rings mentioned in this thread aren't something many people would bother with. But seeing as Honda saw fit to have them in there then I can imagine some people would want them.LiteTekBlair wrote:If there is something that you would like added to the carb kit then let me know and I will go to work on it. Set ordered for my CBR 250!!! Will be dropping the carbs off to Gloucester for a good clean but have to order a new diaphragm, found a place called NRP in Manchester at a cost of £42 each made from vitron.
