Cool project, always like to see these rise from the dead. One thing though, it might be an 89 bike but it's wearing the tank and fairings from a 92 bike. So matey's story of binning it in 89 doesn't hold true.

the bike was on a G reg, but i have re framed it so its not a write off which will be a J reg now. lots of time pasted so maybe he wanted me off the phone LOL

What are you going to do fairing wise?

i now have a full set of oem fairings a few small repairs needed and a full respray, but for the time being it will be the chinesse ones fitted

Have you decided what colour scheme to go for?

Yeah it will be RWB really like the scheme classic colours

Kudos for sticking with it! I'd probably sell it in bits.

to be honest all the bits needed a total strip and clean
