Cool project, always like to see these rise from the dead. One thing though, it might be an 89 bike but it's wearing the tank and fairings from a 92 bike. So matey's story of binning it in 89 doesn't hold true.

the bike was on a G reg, but i have re framed it so its not a write off which will be a J reg now. lots of time pasted so maybe he wanted me off the phone LOL

What are you going to do fairing wise?

i now have a full set of oem fairings a few small repairs needed and a full respray, but for the time being it will be the chinesse ones fitted

Kudos for sticking with it! I'd probably sell it in bits.
