yeah alright cheers, i shall have a look , the headers fit fine i made it difficult for myself by leaving the rad in place and only undone lower rad mounts and pulled it foward ,but it would be so much easier to remove it first .overall for the price im very happy with them sounds sweeter runs better and compared to longlifes quote a LOT cheaper

haha yeah i hate old allen bolts ,half of mine were lose anyway but did need a lump hammer to get old header off , but after many threads with talk of r6 link pipes some say its 2003 model and some say 98-02 but the 98 one looks like it so iv brought a new delkevic stubby including link pipe , once it arrives i will post a reply on how i get on with it ,should be here for new years eve

hi guys , reply to r6 exhaust , well to start off it does fit years 98-02 did run in to a few problems tho 1- you need a good quilty reducer to go between link pipe and header as one supplied fell apart , 2 - end can needed to have a modified hanger strap as for a r6 where it bolts to frame its a thin bit of metal where as on gk76 its on a thick peice at rear foot pegs and just doesnt line up ,simple fix tho i used my old 1 off my yosi and put a bend in it so it would fit oval can .3- the end can isnt dead straight ,had to angle it but only slighty or it would catch swing arm when suspension travels , so in summery it fits but dont expect a straight foward job you will run into some issues but very simple ones , end results looks great and sounds even better ,brand new stubby delkevic exhaust road legal including link pipe for 120 not bad,

I've now fitted the scorpion exhaust but it doesnt sound like its running as well as it was before. I've let it warm up a fair bit but when I give it some throttle in neutral it seems a bit boggy. The exhaust isnt blowing from anywhere either. Does this mean I'm going to have to rolling road it to get the right fuel/air mixture. The bike was running as sweet as a nut before.

I took the bike out for a ride earlier and it seemed fine. I think the slight boggyness might of been where the bike hasnt been ran for a few weeks and there may of been some stinkin petrol in the carvs or something. Although I already had a blue flame end can on there before i put the scorpion on i can definitely hear the difference, and i may be imagining it but the bikes response seems a bit smoother.

So you think the scorpion is ok then,do you like the sound? If my bike has been out side under the cover or in the garage for a week or so it sounds like its missing and it won't rev just splutters . I warm it up the best I can then take it up the road and pull the pin for a mile or two and it clears and it runs fine till I don't use it again for a week. Was that can in good condition of eBay

Yes mate the can was in really good nick. I'll upload some pics later if I get a chance. I've got a small clip of the noise it produces as well which you can view using the link below:

That was at a maximum of about 7k RPM as I was getting some funny looks from neighbours!!

Looks really nice mate I like it and it sounds good. How are you getting on with those header pipes do you think they are worth it ? I wanted a set but I keep stoping myself because of the recent comments about them
