I have a few original screens and that one described on eBay a few weeks ago wasn't one I'm afraid.

Quite rare, atract a premium, but i sold mine onto kris so i could just buy a replacement double bubble, id rather give it to someone that needs it than rip someone off tbhlizard821000 wrote:whats the crack with these original screens then? or is it just coz they are original, so sort after for standard refurbs.... got one on my bike, needs a good polish mind lol

Re: Identifiying an original screen?
Haha but in all seriousness i think they can go for a few quid if they are in good nick. Im having second thoughts about buying one due to my bad luck with birdstrikes, would be gutted if i cracked one!

Re: Identifiying an original screen?
To be honest I've got a few original screens and they are made far better than any aftermarket one. But if a good one was for sale for over 50-60 quid I wouldn't pay it, it's just not worth it. They are brittle now and prone to cracking pretty much everywhere especially near the mirrors and fixing holes.
Just get a nice nuvo one or an airblade in the standard shape.
