Managed to get the wheel off yesterday, thanks for the help!

I used the wood + hammer method, thought it wasn't doing anything for a while, was well and truly stuck on!

Nothing unusual then...lol.....glad you managed to sort it....happy days
You'll find when you put the wheel back on it may not push on completely all the way until you torque the hub nut back up.

Glad you removed your wheel but read my posts site.I describe a wheel removal jig i made from metal offcuts.Not hard to make or exspensive.Sure is miles better than a big hammer and lump of wood. :grin:
