I have got it back together now - I imagine the clip ons dont match the yoke as i have had to put the clip ons on as they were before, ie the lug is between the fork clamps.
I have had to take the circlip off the fork and move the bars down tho, so i think the forks come out the top of the yoke a bit more than normal - its done though now so i hope its ok like it is.

Funny, i thought i would undo the lower fork and the frickin fork decided it was on viagra and shot up, had to take the fork top bolt off and remove spacer to push it back down, then rebuilt it when it was clamped back in the top and bottom yoke !!

Glad you got it back together. Just wondered why you got mph stickers on the speedo when you've got a speedo convertor fitted. When it shows 70 you'll be doing 120

No wonder 30mph per the sticker seems fast.............
I bought the speed convertor from thunderace? the other day and i had literally just fitted it after I had beaten the forks into submission.
I need to take the stickers off really but didnt know if i should just leave them there till its been MOT'd as it might confuse them, its been through in the past with the stickers on.

I've not got stickers on my 250 with a speedo convertor, never had a problem. Maybe put a sticker over the KPH bit saying MPH?
