I used a local dealer in Leeds who managed to get correct rear tyre size i.e 150 profile, but as pointed out they are getting on a bit........me thinks an eventual 17" conversion maybe inevitable?!

Dunlop GPRA10 tires are no longer available.

For the simple reason they have been super ceded by the Dunlop "sportmax a12h". Yes they are available in matching sets for standard vfr rim sizes.

They are absolutely sterling tires. I'm nearly at the end of the life of my second set and am about to purchase a 3rd for my road (soon to be converted to track only) bike. Also You can get Bridgestone YCX slicks for the vfr standard rim sizes. 155/635-18 if memory serves me well.

Interesting, sound perfect only problem is I can't find any in UK unless anyone else has tracked a supplier?? Might be an excuse for a trip to NZ to try them out though??!!

Come to Manfield (my local race track) in NZ and you can have a session on my bike. Yes I'm serious.

Provided of course you aren't a hamfisted tit.

I pay around $600NZD to get a set fitted on the bike. Works out to around £310.

Maybe you could bulk buy ?? They really are good tires. NZ track conditions wouldn't be far removed from Englands. Cold, often raining etc.
