I'd say £200 is a fair price for a known good running 3TJ engine, the electrics aren't really that important (unless you haven't got any to start with!) because most people looking for a 3TJ lump are looking because they've used the electrics they already had to blow their old engine up! :lol:

The price and scarcity of good replacement 3TJ lumps is partly why I whined on so much to get hybrids allowed in Thunderbikes- you don't need to tune a 600 engine to get the bike on the power to weight limit so the engines should be slightly more reliable :grin:

I think it's a supply and demand thing ... if your engine is kaputen then the bike itself isn't worth much, then a 400 engine is worth a lot more to you.
