Hi Rhory,
I think I've a set of uk spec cooler lines in the garage if you're interested? Here's what I have, I'm sure someone could say for sure.

if some one was to buy your oil lines and my oil cooler they them selves would have the makings of an oil cooler that would work with the right effort
but i think i'm going to try the oil/water cooler as i think it'll be the easiest fitted and easiest to get working

to be 100% honest bud i thik you're right but i'm not prepared to go inside a working motor to do it right ,i looked for one of those mocal plates and it was 3times the price of the blade plate !!
so i'm going to try this route first,if it worked for HRC it'll work for little old me ...

i hope
if not i'll just go buy myself an HRC oil cooler...
but i'm surprised not more people have tried an oil cooler on the bikes...
loving the smilies today

speaking to stephen tonight he said that the bikes responed well to oil coolers as every little helps when it comes to losing heat and the oil/air is the best (but we know that) honda probably did the oil/water one as it meant less pipes and tubes around an already compact engine bay
i look forward to trying this and seeing how it helps my road bike as i have found little answer on this forum, seems everyone reads the akhara site but few try it lol

I'm not keen on trying the hrc method because the water temp on my track bike is already at the upper limit, this would only make it worse.
An air/oil cooler would be best, but you'll probably need the uprated oil pump (UK model/maybe nc24) for it to be fully effective.
Big radiators are probably the easiest option to keep both temps in check.

The oli/air type can be used without upgrading the oilpump as seen in the first 3 pics here:

My trackbike also ran very hot until the oilcooler was mounted.
