				the cheapest option is a used item from the bay, but it won't be any softer  
 
in fact when new, they were pretty thin on the foam front, if you want it with more padding you'll have to get it re-covered,
probably the best option is find someone local to re-cover it, or have a bash yourself it's not that awkward  a shape to mold round and you could put a gel pad init as well
